Hello, my name is Faith and I am a Security Cloud Support Engineer in AWS Dublin, Ireland. As an engineer, my role involves using various troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for any issues faced by our customers. I enjoy my role because apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, I can also get involved in a range of other activities such as hiring and mentoring new employees, developing & presenting training and working with the development teams on complex issues or working with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives. So as you can probably tell, there’s never a dull moment.

Outside of my day to day role, I also lead the Black Employee Network (BEN) chapter in Ireland. BEN is an inclusive educational network where all are welcomed irrespective of background. It was setup with the purpose of educating Amazonians on Black, African and Afro-Caribbean culture and to raise awareness on the issues faced by the black community and what we can do to help. At the end of the day, there is strength in numbers.
